Role Summary
The role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage both IT support and strategic technology improvements.
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Lead to oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and digital operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of all IT systems while providing leadership for technology initiatives that support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Infrastructure Management:
- Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, networks, and communication systems.
- Technical Support & Service Delivery:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and system-related challenges.
- Lead IT support activities and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Establish and maintain effective IT support processes and procedures.
- Network Administration
- Ensure network performance, reliability, and security.
- Monitor network usage and optimize performance where necessary.
- Manage LAN, WAN, internet connectivity, wireless infrastructure, and VPN services.
- Cybersecurity & Data Protection:
- Monitor for security threats, vulnerabilities, and potential breaches.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
- Maintain firewalls, antivirus solutions, endpoint protection systems, and access controls.
- Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery readiness.
- Systems Administration:
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email systems, and access rights.
- Ensure business continuity through proper system management and redundancy measures.
- Oversee software updates, patches, upgrades, and system maintenance activities.
- Hardware Maintenance & Asset Management:
- Coordinate hardware procurement, repairs, and replacements.
- Troubleshoot and repair computer systems, printers, networking devices, and related IT equipment.
- Manage IT inventory and asset lifecycle processes.
- Digital Transformation & Technology Improvement:
- Support digital transformation initiatives and automation projects.
- Recommend and implement innovative IT solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology.
- Vendor & Service Provider Management:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Monitor vendor performance and service-level agreements.
- Coordinate procurement of IT equipment, software licenses, and subscriptions.
- Training & User Support:
- Promote effective utilization of technology resources across the organization.
- Develop user guides and technical documentation.
- Conduct user training on IT systems, applications, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Compliance & Governance:
- Support audits, risk assessments, and business continuity planning.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and records.
- Qualifications &
Requirements
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, virtual environments, and modern collaboration tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- 3–5 years
Experience
in IT support, systems administration, network administration, or IT management roles.
