Job Title: Information Technology Personnel
Location: Mowe, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
The IT Personnel is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s computer systems, networks, software, hardware, and other technology resources.
The role ensures that IT systems operate efficiently, securely, and reliably to support the organization’s business and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor IT systems for security threats, unauthorized access, malware, and other vulnerabilities.
- Perform any other IT-related duties assigned by management.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to IT incidents.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, servers, network equipment, and other IT devices.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software.
- Assist with the procurement, installation, configuration, and replacement of IT equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Liaise with external IT service providers, internet service providers, software vendors, and equipment suppliers when necessary.
- Install, update, and maintain operating systems, applications, antivirus software, and other authorized software.
- Support company ERP, accounting, production, inventory, HR, and other business applications where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, software licenses, and maintenance activities.
- Perform regular data backups and assist with data recovery when required.
- Good knowledge of computer networking and system administration.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and responsible handling of company information.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Monitor and maintain the company’s computer networks, internet connectivity, and communication systems.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, passwords, and other IT security requirements.
- Prepare IT reports and provide updates on system performance, incidents, equipment, and outstanding issues.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of information security policies and procedures.
- Train employees on the proper and safe use of computers, software, internet services, and other IT resources.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, system performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Ensure IT systems and services are available to support daily business and production operations.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and applicable data protection requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of latest functional Applications.
- Practical knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and IT support.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant professional IT certifications will be an advantage.
