Risk Management and Compliance
NAJEC FMCG Limited is hiring a sharp, independent Internal Control Officer to protect our cash, stock and receivables across our branches in Garki, Kaura and Apo.
What you'll do
Carry out daily and surprise cash counts, and reconcile POS sales, transfers and bank lodgements
Run stock-to-sales checks and physical counts of fast-moving goods, and investigate shortages, damages, returns and unexplained adjustments
Enforce goods-inward rules by verifying deliveries against invoices, quantities and batch/expiry details
Monitor customer credit limits, receivables and NIBSS payment mandates to make sure they follow approved policy
Prepare filings and weekly control reports for the MD/CEO, and follow up until issues are closed
Recommend practical fixes to close control gaps in a fast-paced, high-volume trading environment
What you bring
HND or B.Sc in Accounting or Finance
3–5 years' experience in internal control, audit or finance (FMCG, distribution or retail experience is a plus)
ICAN or ACCA is an advantage
Strong Excel and ERP skills
Integrity, and the confidence to challenge anyone, whatever their seniority
Willingness to move between branches and make unannounced visits
