We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Internal Control Officer
Location: Delta
Job Summary:
The Internal Control Officer will support the organization in maintaining effective internal controls, monitoring compliance, identifying control gaps, reviewing operational activities, and ensuring that established policies and procedures are properly followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Maintain proper documentation of control reviews and findings.
- Conduct routine operational checks and reviews.
- Support investigations into operational discrepancies when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Review transactions, records, and supporting documentation for compliance.
- Work with relevant departments to strengthen compliance and control processes.
- Follow up on identified exceptions and corrective actions.
- Prepare clear and timely internal control reports.
- Identify control weaknesses, irregularities, and areas of operational risk.
- Provide relevant observations and recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: B.Sc./HND.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate to any assigned location.
- Good computer literacy.
- Age: 22–35 years.
- Ability to work independently and professionally.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
