Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management/Sales Support Officer to manage inventory records, monitor stock levels, coordinate stock movements, and provide operational support to the sales team.
The role involves working closely with Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, record, and monitor incoming stock and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
- Identify and report low, excess, damaged, or expired stock.
- Record stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
- Prepare inventory and stock movement reports.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, organization, and security of stock.
- Assist customers with product enquiries and provide accurate product/pricing information.
- Process sales orders, invoices, receipts, waybills, and customer orders.
- Support order picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Monitor product availability and provide stock updates to the sales team.
- Follow up on customer requests and assist with basic complaints.
- Maintain proper inventory and sales documentation and update the company’s ERP/POS or inventory system.
- Assist with data entry and other administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory and sales procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Inventory Management/Sales, preferably in media, advertising, marketing, or a related industry.
Strong business development and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
