Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and maintain accurate records in the inventory management system.
- Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, accuracy, and damage; reconcile physical receipts against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Oversee the issuance and release of goods/materials to authorized departments or clients with appropriate documentation.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts, periodic audits, and cycle counts to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Identify reorder thresholds, generate purchase requests, and collaborate with procurement to maintain optimal inventory buffers.
- Ensure goods are stored logically, safely, and efficiently in line with warehouse/storage guidelines.
- Prepare weekly and monthly inventory status reports, stock valuation summaries, and loss/shrinkage reports for management.
