Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in inventory management, stock control, warehouse operations, or a related role.
BSc/HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of inventory and stock management procedures, including stock monitoring, reconciliation, and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory/record-keeping tools, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to identify discrepancies, prevent shortages, wastage, unauthorized usage, and maintain accurate stock records.
Must be trustworthy, responsible, able to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all inventory and stock items, including detergents, chemicals, packaging materials, and laundry supplies.
- Receive, inspect, record, and properly store incoming supplies while maintaining proper documentation.
- Track stock movement and usage, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment requests while identifying damaged, missing, expired, or excess stock.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and work with management to improve stock utilization and minimize wastage, losses, and unnecessary expenses.
- Ensure the store/stock area is clean, organized, secure, and compliant with company inventory and stock-control procedures.
