The Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager is a commercially critical role responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing capital from High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), family offices, and private investors to fund manufacturing and real-sector investment opportunities.

The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of capital markets, investor psychology, and commercial execution, ensuring that every engagement progresses toward a clear funding outcome.

This is not a passive relationship management role, it is a deal-closing function. The role holder is expected to convert investor conversations into committed capital within defined timelines, while building a long-term investor base that supports the firm's broader investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capital Raising & Deal Closure:
  • Drive investor conversations from introduction through commitment and fund deployment.
  • Present structured investment opportunities including equity, debt, commercial papers, direct lending, and Islamic financing.
  • Maintain a clear pipeline of active investor discussions with defined timelines and expected close values.
  • Source and secure capital from HNIs, family offices, and private investors across local and international markets, including the GCC.
  • Investor Relationship Management:
  • Provide structured updates on investment performance and portfolio developments.
  • Build and maintain long-term investor relationships that lead to repeat investments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, ensuring clear, consistent, and professional communication.
  • Deal Structuring & Execution Support:
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
  • Support due diligence processes, financial modelling inputs, and investment documentation.
  • Work closely with internal teams to structure investment opportunities aligned with investor expectations.
  • Market Positioning & Network Development:
  • Represent the firm in high-level investor engagements and strategic conversations.
  • Actively build presence within investor ecosystems, including HNI networks, private wealth circles, and investment forums.
  • Develop and maintain a strong personal pipeline of qualified investors.
  • Performance Expectations
  • Performance will be measured based on:
  • Timely conversion of qualified opportunities into funded transactions.
  • Strength, quality, and visibility of the investor pipeline.
  • Conversion rate from investor engagement to committed capital.
  • Repeat investment and investor retention levels.
  • Capital raised within the first 30–90 days.
  • Number and quality of HNIs and family offices onboarded.
  • Required Skills & Competencies:
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Ability to independently manage a high-value fundraising pipeline.
  • Strong commercial judgment and execution discipline.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong existing network of HNIs, family offices, or private investors.
  • Deep understanding of investment products and structuring.
  • Proven ability to close high-value investment deals under time pressure.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
  • 5–10 years experience in investor relations, private banking, wealth management, corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record of raising capital from HNIs, family offices, or private investors.
  • Salary and Benefits
  • N2,500,000 monthly.
  • Quick-Start Bonus: N15,000,000 for securing N1.5 billion or more within the first 30 days.
