We are looking for a proactive, resourceful, and tech-savvy IT Support Intern to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to support day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot technical issues, assist employees with technology-related needs, and gain practical experience in a professional environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide first-level IT support to employees and assist with resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues involving computers, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers and software applications.
Support user account setup, access management, and basic system administration.
Assist with network and connectivity troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi and LAN-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, and support requests.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT team members when required.
Support routine IT maintenance and system checks.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including device and system setup.
Provide technical support during meetings, presentations, and other internal activities.
Assist with other IT projects and tasks as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
Currently serving under the NYSC programme and posted to Abuja.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with different teams.
Proactive, responsive, and willing to take initiative.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
