You'll manage and oversee Gravv Capital's crypto-asset financial services and keep them compliant with FSCA, FAIS and FICA requirements. You'll work closely with senior management, compliance, product, engineering and operations teams across the group, so that the business operates within the scope of its FSCA authorisation.

Requirements

- What You'll Do
- Key Individual and regulatory oversight
- Act as the designated Key Individual, subject to FSCA approval.
- Manage and oversee Gravv Capital's authorised crypto-asset financial services.
- Keep crypto-asset activities within the scope of the firm's FSCA licence, and assess new products, services or business changes for licensing impact before launch.
- Maintain compliance with the FAIS Act, the General Code of Conduct and applicable FSCA requirements.
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting crypto-asset financial services, and advise management on their impact.
- Prepare and support regulatory submissions, notifications and correspondence with the FSCA.
- Help the FSCA and other regulators with inspections, audits and information requests.
- Compliance function
- Implement and maintain the firm's compliance policies and procedures, aligned with Kredete group policies where appropriate.
- Conduct or coordinate compliance monitoring and testing, and report findings to management.
- Maintain regulatory records, registers and compliance documentation.
- Identify and escalate regulatory and compliance risks to senior management.
- Provide practical compliance guidance to business, product and operational teams.
- Lead regulatory training and awareness for staff and representatives.
- FICA, AML/CFT and sanctions
- Oversee compliance with FICA, AML/CFT, targeted financial sanctions and applicable FIC directives, including the Travel Rule for crypto-asset service providers.
- Support KYC, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence and transaction monitoring processes.
- Oversee the maintenance of the firm's Risk Management and Compliance Programme (RMCP).
- Support suspicious and unusual transaction reporting and other regulatory reporting to the FIC.
- Fit and Proper and competence
- Maintain the firm's Fit and Proper competence records for Key Individuals and representatives. These include qualifications, regulatory examinations, product and class-of-business training, and CPD, as the FSCA requires.
- General
- Perform any other duties reasonably required by the Company in connection with the Key Individual role, regulatory compliance, the management and oversight of the Company's authorised financial services and crypto-asset activities, and the effective operation of the compliance function.
- Mandatory
- You must:
- Have passed the FSCA RE1 Regulatory Examination for Key Individuals.
- Hold an FSCA-recognised qualification for the relevant financial product or product sub-category.
- Have 1–3 years' relevant
Experience
in financial services, fintech, crypto assets, compliance, AML or regulatory affairs.
Know the FAIS Act and the FSCA regulatory framework.
Know FICA, AML/CFT, KYC/EDD and sanctions compliance.
Have demonstrable knowledge of crypto assets and crypto-asset financial services.
Meet the honesty, integrity and good-standing requirements, and not be debarred.
Show the operational ability and capacity to carry out the

Be willing and able to complete ongoing CPD and maintain the role's competence requirements.
