We are seeking hardworking and reliable Kitchen Staff to support the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel kitchen.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining clean and organised work areas, handling kitchen supplies and equipment properly and supporting the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of food hygiene and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving and organising food supplies.
- Support stock rotation and help monitor food supplies.
- Wash, peel, cut, portion, and prepare ingredients as directed.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a clean working environment.
- Clean and sanitise utensils, equipment, workstations, and kitchen areas.
- Store ingredients properly according to established procedures.
- Set up kitchen stations before food preparation and service.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist cooks and chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
- Performance Expectations
- Keep workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas clean and organised.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures consistently.
- Complete assigned duties efficiently and support the wider kitchen team.
- Provide effective support to cooks and chefs during food preparation and service.

- Qualifications and Experience

- Good organisational skills and attention to cleanliness.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and sanitation.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent qualification.
