- Ensure
- timely preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory reports,
- including VAT, SCUML, and other compliance requirements.
- Monitor
- and reconcile income, customer repayments, and accounts to ensure accuracy and
- completeness.
- Review
- statements of accounts and investigate discrepancies or exceptions.
- Prepare
- budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
- Track
- portfolio performance and provide insights on financial risks and
- opportunities.
- Coordinate
- internal reporting such as weekly and monthly activity reports.
- Provide
- guidance, supervision, and mentoring to junior accounting staff.
- Liaise
- with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as required.
