Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented legal officer (NYSC) to provide legal support across the organisation and assist with legal documentation, research, contracts, and other legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and provide support on legal matters.
- Draft, review, and proofread contracts, agreements, letters, and other legal documents.
- Assist with reviewing commercial and business agreements.
- Maintain and organise legal documents and records
- Assist with legal correspondence and documentation.
- Support due diligence and other legal assignments as required.
- Identify potential legal risks and escalate matters requiring further legal attention.
- Perform other legal duties as assigned.
Requirements
LL.B from a recognised university.
Must have completed Nigerian Law School and been called to the Nigerian Bar.
Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member and actively seeking a PPA.
Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
