You will play a crucial role in ensuring uninterrupted, safe, and efficient power operations across our facilities and project sites.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high-voltage electrical power systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution lines.
We are seeking a qualified, highly skilled, and safety-conscious Licenced High Voltage Electrician to join our team in the Ogere/Sagamu area.
Key Responsibilities
- & Duties
- Safety & Isolation: Perform high-voltage switching operations, system isolations, earthing, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures in strict compliance with safety regulations.
- Testing & Quality Control: Conduct insulation resistance testing, relay calibration, transformer oil testing, and high-pot (Hi-Pot) testing on electrical installations.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Rapidly diagnose electrical faults, line disturbances, and mechanical failures in high-voltage networks and execute repairs safely and effectively.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate logs of switching procedures, maintenance schedules, fault reports, and compliance documentation.
- Maintenance & Operations: Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on high-voltage power systems to prevent downtime and equipment failure.
- HV Installation & Commissioning: Install, test, and commission high-voltage electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgears, circuit breakers, ring main units (RMUs), and power distribution networks.

Education
& Certification:
Trade Test (Class 1, 2, 3), OND, or HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Valid Electrical Licence / High Voltage (HV) Competency Certification from a recognized regulatory body (e.g., NEMSA or equivalent).
Minimum of 5–15 years of hands-on

Location: Must be based in or willing to commute comfortably to the Ogere / Sagamu axis.
