Job Title: Logistics Manager
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description / Responsibilities
Liaise with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal departments to resolve logistics and delivery issues.
Ensure proper documentation and accountability for all logistics activities.
Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance, fuel consumption, and overall fleet performance.
Supervise drivers, riders, dispatch personnel, and other logistics staff.
Oversee and coordinate the company’s daily logistics and transportation operations.
Prepare and review logistics reports, operational KPIs, and performance metrics.
Plan and monitor deliveries, dispatches, routes, and fleet activities to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, cost management, and customer satisfaction.
Track delivery performance and ensure agreed SLAs and customer expectations are consistently met.
Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification in Logistics/Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial experience in a managerial / supervisory logistics role.
Proven experience managing logistics operations, fleet, deliveries, and operational teams.
Demonstrated experience in improving operational efficiency and meeting delivery/service-level targets.
Must have worked in a logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain company.
Other Requirements:
Must be results-oriented and capable of managing multiple logistics activities simultaneously.
Must demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and operational discipline.
Candidates with strong knowledge of the Nigerian logistics and transportation industry will be preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours when operational requirements demand it.
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Excellent knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.

- Remuneration
- N300,000 – N350,000 monthly, depending on experience and qualifications.
