We are seeking a competent and resourceful
Logistics Officer
to ensure the efficient coordination of personnel, materials, equipment, transportation, and logistics activities across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel, equipment, and materials for projects and training programmes.
- Support the planning and tracking of project materials, tools, and equipment to ensure timely availability.
- Plan and coordinate journey management activities, including journey planning, vehicle allocation, driver scheduling, route assessments, journey approvals, and journey tracking to ensure safe and efficient movement of personnel.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, freight forwarders, transport providers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate seamless logistics operations.
- Monitor logistics schedules and proactively resolve issues that may affect project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of mobilisation activities, logistics documentation, inventory movements, and material issuance.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinate replenishment where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
- Prepare periodic logistics and materials reports for management.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Logistics, Mobilization & Materials Coordinator.
- Qualification& Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of
- 4 years'
- relevant experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, fleet coordination, or materials management.
- Experience in the oil & gas, engineering, inspection, or industrial services sector is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of logistics coordination, fleet operations, ana journey management
- principles.
- Ability toa manage multiple priorities.
