Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems and HVAC units to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff.
We are looking for an experienced and dependable AC Technician to join our hotel’s maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to guest and staff maintenance requests related to air conditioning.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to support overall facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and hotel policies.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning systems and HVAC units across the hotel.
- Properly handle tools, equipment, and refrigerant gases in line with health and safety practices.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues with compressors, motors, thermostats, refrigerant levels, and related components.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Recommend improvements for energy efficiency and cost savings.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of cooling systems.
- Qualifications & Skills
- Physical fitness and willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in HVAC or Refrigeration (preferred).
- Diploma, Certificate, or Technical Training in Refrigeration, HVAC, or Air Conditioning Technology.
- 1–3 years of practical
Experience
as an AC Technician, preferably in a hotel, commercial, or industrial environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service charts.
