Job Summary
The ideal candidate must maintain excellent food quality, hygiene, and presentation while meeting the household's dietary needs and working a demanding schedule.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to prepare high-quality Nigerian and intercontinental dishes, pastries, and specialised dietary meals for a private household.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimise food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and presentation.
- Manage grocery shopping, kitchen supplies, and food inventory.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and handle household-related responsibilities professionally.
- Plan menus and prepare healthy meals based on dietary requirements.
- Accommodate special meal requests and prepare food for guests and events.
- Respect the employer's privacy and maintain confidentiality.
- Prepare Nigerian and intercontinental dishes, pastries, snacks, and desserts.
- Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience preparing specialised dietary and healthy meals.
- Proven experience as a Chef in a private household, restaurant, or hospitality establishment.
- Knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and inventory management.
- Willingness to work in a live-in arrangement in Lekki Phase 1.
- Strong skills in Nigerian and intercontinental cuisines, pastry-making, and baking.
- Relevant culinary training or certification is an added advantage.
