To support our expanding operations, we are seeking a qualified Manager (Accounts) for our Head Office in Ibadan

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure the timely filing of VAT, WHT, CIT, and other statutory obligations in compliance with FIRS and state tax requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets, monitor variances, and provide reports to support management decisions.
  • Prepare monthly Profit and Loss Accounts, Balance Sheet, and Final Accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Provide updates and advice on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial policies affecting the organization.
  • Payroll postings, and general ledger maintenance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support and liaise with external auditors, address audit queries, and implement recommended internal control improvements.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow positions, and ensure the integrity of financial records.
  • Maintain and update fixed asset registers, prepare asset disposal schedules, and ensure accurate depreciation accounting
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Qualification & Required Skills
  • Not more than 40 years of age
  • Possession of a relevant professional qualification such as ICAN or ACCA is Mandatory.
  • Must have 5-10 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • A First Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Accounting with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division/Lower Credit.
