We are seeking an experienced
Marine Operations Manager
to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company-owned vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee vessel safety, compliance, maintenance, certification, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Masters, Port Captains, authorities, crew, and service providers.
- Ensure timely supplies, spares, crew changes, and vessel readiness.
- Monitor vessel performance, incidents, subcontractors, and corrective actions.
- Support crew recruitment, training, audits, and continuous operational improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
5+ years’ relevant experience in marine/vessel operations, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, Flag State, Class, and statutory requirements.
Experience with vessel maintenance, audits, certification, crew management, and marine safety.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly to vessels and ports.
