We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Marine Operations Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company-owned vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Support crew recruitment, training, audits, and continuous operational improvement.
- Coordinate with Masters, Port Captains, authorities, crew, and service providers.
- Ensure timely supplies, spares, crew changes, and vessel readiness.
- Oversee vessel safety, compliance, maintenance, certification, and documentation.
- Monitor vessel performance, incidents, subcontractors, and corrective actions.
Requirements
5+ years’ relevant
Experience
in marine/vessel operations, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, Flag State, Class, and statutory requirements.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly to vessels and ports.
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
