We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Free Trade Zone - Lagos

Job Summary
This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and eager to learn about the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, especially in the hygiene product care space.
As a Marketing Associate, you will assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and retail activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align promotional efforts with sales goals.
- Conduct brand audits and market research to ensure Goonite products are perceived positively in the marketplace.
- Drive brand positioning, product messaging, and differentiation to resonate with target audiences.
- Visit market locations regularly to observe brand visibility and consumer engagement.
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Goonite’s diaper and sanitary product lines.
- Participate in planning product launches and promotional events at retail outlets.
- Support the implementation of offline and online marketing campaigns, including events, trade promotions, and product sampling.
- Conduct regular consumer surveys and focus groups to gather insights into product performance, customer preferences, and emerging trends
- Monitor competitor activity and gather feedback from field and business partners (Key distributors, wholesalers and retailers).
- Coordinate with retailers, vendors, and field teams to ensure effective execution of marketing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in offline and retail-based marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in marketing, preferably within the consumer goods, hygiene, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
