Job Title: Mason Foreman
Location: Lekki, Ikoyi & Banana Island axis - Lagos

Jo Description
We are looking to hire an experienced Mason Foreman to supervise and coordinate masonry and related building works across our construction sites.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance with site safety and quality requirements.
- Supervise masons, labourers, and other workers involved in masonry activities.
- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Monitor manpower and report additional labour or material requirements.
- Supervise blockwork, brickwork, plastering, screeding, setting out, and other masonry activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- Ensure walls are properly aligned, levelled, plumbed, and constructed to the required specifications.
- Monitor daily progress and ensure assigned works are completed within the required timelines.
- Identify and correct defective or poorly executed work.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
- Report progress, challenges, and site requirements to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
- Coordinate daily masonry works according to project drawings, schedules, and site instructions.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Carpenter Foremen, Reinforcement/Iron Fitters, and other site teams.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship used for masonry works.
- Ensure proper use and storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Strong practical knowledge of blockwork, plastering, screeding, and general building works.
- Good understanding of levels, measurements, alignment, and setting out.
- Proven experience supervising masonry teams on construction sites.
- Minimum of 6 years' practical experiencein building construction.
- Must be physically fit and willing to work on active construction sites.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings is an advantage.
