Job Summary
Coordinates and controls material movements from/to offshore sites or contractors’ base
Ensures material movements are efficiently and safely performed in accordance with Company rules and procedures and to satisfy the operational
Requirements
- Coordinates between the relevant entities such as Operational site, support sections and the entities supplying the logistics, warehousing, stock management services and computerized management system (SAP) services
- of the offshore teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials from warehouse or contractor's base
- In conjunction with the Logistics supervisors, control material movements between offshore sites, onshore sites (i.e. Subsea site, Jumper Site) and OMIR Vessels.
- Context and Environment:
- Constraints: Inefficient materials transfer could lead to disruption of construction activities, which can also have a negative impact on the Asset
- Interfaces: Field Operations, Production, Maintenance, Inspection, Marine and HSE
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Partake in materials reception for all materials which are due to be sent to offshore sites
- Ensure all materials, particularly lifting gear for load-out to the field, have valid inspection certificates
- Control the quality of the deliverables relating to materials received from contractors, particularly MSDS
- In conjunction with the stock controller, coordinate the registration of materials in SAP
- Initiate requisition for services such as transportation and repairs of materials in line with the specified materials management procedure
- Maintains working relationships with Field Operations teams
- Executes any other professional duties
- In conjunction with HSE teams, partake in pre-mobilization inspection of materials to be delivered
- Interfaces with ECP Decentralized buyer and Procurement Department for materials requisition and follow-up to ensure timely delivery
- Manage, administer and maintain ECP dedicated materials on the base
- Initiate technical control when necessary from suitable technical authorities or from the discipline engineers
- In conjunction with logistics, warehouse and contractor teams, ensure that equipment, its means of transportation and lifting are in accordance with HSE standards and rules
- Partake in SMR materials reception, inspection and acceptance.
- When required/requested, visit Suppliers/Subcontractors to ensure materials to be supplied meet the required specification
- Ensures contractors’ materials to be loaded out to the field have the valid colour coding in line with the current colour regime.
