We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to handle routine mechanical maintenance, minimize plant downtime, and ensure equipment reliability while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including audits, assessments, and employee training.
- Coordinate with section in-charges, provide daily feedback, and participate in daily meetings.
- Attend to routine mechanical problems and ensure spare assemblies are readily available.
- Promote quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations while identifying improvements to enhance plant safety and environmental performance.
- Drive downtime reduction and conduct Why-Why Analysis to identify the root causes of equipment failures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in mechanical fitting or industrial maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant technical or academic qualification.
- Candidates should possess an SSCE, Trade Test, OND, HND or B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering
- Good understanding of plant safety, environmental standards, and IMS requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with teams and minimize equipment downtime.
- N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
