We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Mechanical Support Services Helper
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Job Purpose
To provide general assistance to mechanical technicians and maintenance teams during installation, maintenance, repair and other mechanical activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist mechanical technicians during maintenance and repair activities.
- Move and arrange tools, equipment and materials.
- Support dismantling and reassembly activities under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians.
- Comply with PTW and site HSE requirements.
- Assist with equipment preparation and worksite setup.
- Support lifting, handling and positioning of materials as directed.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Assist with housekeeping and worksite preparation.
Requirements
- Physically fit for site work.
- Basic technical/trade qualification is advantageous.
- Willingness to work under supervision and follow safety procedures.
- Previous mechanical, construction, industrial or oil & gas experience preferred.
- Ability to work with hand tools.
