Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented MEP QA/QC Engineer to ensure that Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works comply with approved specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Identify quality issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Inspect MEP installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor the quality of MEP materials, workmanship, and installations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and HSE requirements.
- Prepare periodic quality reports for project management.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers on quality-related matters.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including ITPs, checklists, test reports, and NCRs.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of MEP installation practices and QA/QC procedures.
- HND/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work effectively on active construction sites.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and IEC.
Experience
preparing ITPs, NCRs, and inspection reports.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, or related software is an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years'
in MEP QA/QC within the construction industry.
