We are seeking an experienced MEP Supervisor / Technician to supervise and coordinate mechanical services on construction projects.
Key Areas:
HVAC systems
Gas piping systems
Plumbing and drainage systems
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret MEP/mechanical drawings and identify clashes or site discrepancies.
- Monitor contractors, technicians and artisans to ensure work is completed correctly and on schedule.
- Report defects, delays and technical issues to the Project Manager and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Supervise testing, commissioning and rectification of mechanical systems.
- Verify materials and equipment before installation.
- Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, structural and electrical services.
- Ensure compliance with site health and safety requirements.
- Supervise HVAC, plumbing and gas piping installations carried out by technicians and subcontractors.
- Inspect installations and monitor workmanship and quality on site.
- Ensure all mechanical works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain records of mechanical works.
Requirements
- A technician or HND or higher in Mechanical works
- Minimum of 3 years relevant construction/site experience preferred.
- Strong site coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience supervising MEP works on building/construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and gas piping systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/MEP drawings.
