PURPOSE OF JOB
The MOT Manager develops and sustains regional strategic relationships with the company's largest and most critical on trade accounts, ensuring that their needs are met and that mutual business goals are achieved. This role involves creatively within the assigned area, executing account strategies, driving sales growth, and maximizing profitability through tailored solutions and effective negotiation. The role delivers exceptional service by aligning with corporate objectives, and identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement within the assigned area, ultimately contributing to the company's market leadership and long-term success. This role is responsible for the development of the on-trade channel.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Implement effective annual regional sales strategies that align with national goals to drive growth in the on-trade trade channel to ensure the company's competitive edge, increase sales, and market expansion. Establish and nurture relationships with major on trade accounts within the region to ensure their needs are met and foster long-term partnerships.
Develop and oversee regional promotional activities and campaigns to boost product visibility and sales, ensuring they are aligned with national marketing strategies and effectively reach the target audience.
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour within the region to identify opportunities and threats, allowing the company to adapt strategies proactively and maintain market relevance.
Regularly track sales performance against targets, prepare detailed reports, and present insights and recommendations to the National Key Account Manager to ensure informed decision making and strategic adjustments.
Lead, motivate, and develop the regional on-trade team to achieve sales objectives to ensure a high-performing and engaged team
Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, and maximizing return on investment to maintain financial health and support strategic initiatives.
Coordinate to ensure all sales activities within the region comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards to maintain the company's reputation and operational integrity
