We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare regular reports on network performance, incidents and downtime.
- Ensure compliance with established IT security and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions and network activities.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve network outages, performance issues and system alerts.
- Monitor network infrastructure, servers, systems and connectivity using NOC monitoring tools.
- Assist with network configuration, maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, servers and other network devices.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs), vendors and internal technical teams when required.
- Follow established incident management, escalation and service-level procedures.
- Respond promptly to network incidents and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams.
- Monitor network performance, availability and capacity.
- Perform routine system and network checks to identify potential problems before they affect operations.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends or public holidays where required.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls and network monitoring tools.
- 1–3 years of
Experience
in a NOC, network support or similar technical role.
B.Sc./HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.
Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and network performance issues.
Good knowledge of Windows/Linux environments is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to network incidents.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent are an advantage.
Salary: N254,000 / Month.
