Since commencing operations in March 1997 the company continues to grow and exerts its presence in numerous Projects in the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: : Lagos
Main Functions
Coordinate all security risk assessments and investigations of security breaches within the company's operational areas:
Reporting and close out of HSE/security anomalies and incidents; follow-up and tracking using the Synergi tool
Coordinate the provision of detailed reports of incidents, anomalies, loss of Asset, security breaches/gaps, near misses and accidents and recommend remedial actions
Participate in risk analysis regarding M&S operations in the S/W region
Drive the in-deployment of GSF personnel and resources to address security issues in AO
Participate in the conduct of security audits/inspections of contractors’ sites, jetties, event centers, and hotels as may be required
Responsible for the implementation of all VPSHR initiatives within company operational areas
Manage the engagement and daily administration of SPY Personnel within DW scope
Coordinate Security interface GSF authorities within Lagos and the neighboring states:
Manage all interfaces between the company and law enforcement agencies
Maintain constant liaison with OPG Command and the office of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State
Assist staff in processing police clearance / extract etc Manage disciplinary procedures for all GSF personnel in line with the Police and Military Act
Intervene in all security intervention involving law enforcement agencies
liaises with police and military commands on all issues relating to law enforcement and the company
Responsible for the discipline of all SPY personnel in liaison with Police Authorities
Reporting and closing out of HSE/security anomalies and incidents; following up and tracking all police cases and investigations
Monitoring and ensuring professional performance by all GSF personnel deployed to company within DW asset.
Ensure 100% compliance with the provisions of VPSHR & ISPS Codes amongst all GSF personnel in DW.
Responsible for all security interventions within Lagos and the neighboring states.
Coordinate Security interface GSF authorities within Lagos and the neighboring states
Monitor implementation of all operating regulations and guidelines
Manage all GSF personnel deployed to company operations with DW Assets and M&S Operations within Lagos.
Manage the engagement and daily administration of SPY personnel within DW scope:
Manage the deployment and administration of all escort and intervention drivers ensuring the compliance with Police regulations and code of conduct
Liaise with Nigeria Police for the training and kiting of SPY Police Personnel
Act as focal point for the administration of SPY Police Personnel
Adherence to Company Security CMS and VPSHR Provisions
Safety culture among personnel, especially Government Security Forces
Ensure 100% compliance with the provisions of VPSHR & ISPS Codes amongst all GSF personnel in DW:
Initiate and implement an appraisal/feedback process for all DW security personnel.
Develop and implement security trainings/inductions for all GSF personnel, including VPSHR trainings
Provide appropriate feedback on the efficient deployment of GSF personnel
Responsible for the implementation of all VPSHR initiatives within company operational areas
Organize periodic refresher VPSHR trainings
Organize regular weapon handling trainings for all GSF personnel
Coordinate the security induction of all newly deployed GSF personnel
Identify GSF personnel training needs
Drive the implementation of security reporting and follow-up on Investigations for both onshore and offshore
Coordinate all security risk assessments and investigation of Security breaches within Company operational areas
Manage all GSF Personnel deployed to Company’s operations with DW Assets and M&S operations in the southwestern region:
Protection of company personnel, contractors, and contractors' personnel during company operations within Lagos

Requirements
- Initiative and decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Personal leadership, relationship, and team-building skills
- 20+ years minimum work
Experience
within police or military, not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) or the equivalent in the military.
Security Management Certification as an added advantage
Good supervisory, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to create good relationships
Strong capability and an aptitude to adapt to changing operational situations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security reporting tools
A good university Degree in any discipline.
Professional membership to security organization(s) as an added advantage
