- Modify and extend existing Odoo models, views, workflows, reports, and business logic.
- Minimise unnecessary customisation by making effective use of Odoo's standard functionality.
- Ensure custom developments follow Odoo development standards and best practices.
- Develop new Odoo modules and functionality where standard features do not meet business requirements.
- Configure and extend standard Odoo applications where required.
- Develop, customise, and maintain Odoo modules based on approved business and functional requirements.
- Develop automated actions, scheduled processes, and other backend functionality.
- Technical Development:
- Develop solutions using Python, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, optimisation, and technical testing.
- Work with Odoo ORM, models, views, controllers, security rules, and workflows.
- Troubleshoot application errors, performance issues, and technical defects.
- Maintain clean, reusable, secure, and well-documented code.
- Develop and maintain QWeb reports and templates.
- Integration:
- Support integration with payment platforms, websites, external applications, and other business systems where required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and data synchronisation issues.
