Job Summary
Our Client is seeking an experienced Onshore Security Coordinator to oversee security operations across an onshore field environment, ensuring the effective protection of personnel, facilities, assets, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the protection of Company personnel, assets, facilities, and operations.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and exercise the Site/Field Security Plan.
- Conduct checks on personnel, vehicles, equipment, and materials entering and leaving sites.
- Monitor, test, and ensure proper maintenance of surveillance and intrusion-detection systems.
- Conduct security inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Liaise with relevant security agencies and authorities when authorized.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and occurrences.
- Coordinate with security managers of contractors and service companies.
- Ensure personnel understand and comply with established security procedures.
- Manage the deployment and activities of security personnel within assigned locations.
- Manage security around wellhead locations and other critical assets.
- Control and regulate access to operational facilities.
- Gather, analyze, document, and disseminate security information.
- Ensure security meetings, briefings, and awareness sessions are conducted.
- Investigate security incidents/crimes and prepare accurate investigation reports.
- Vet personnel and manage access/badge authorization.
- Conduct regular security inspections and patrols across field locations and facilities.
- Coordinate Government Security Forces and other deployed security personnel.
Requirements
Strong
Experience
in access control, security inspections, incident investigation, intelligence gathering, and security reporting.
Willingness to work on a rotational basis.
Military or Police background is highly desirable.
Previous industrial security experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or another high-risk environment.
Good knowledge of security procedures, risk management, and emergency response.
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution with 5-10 years experience.
Ability to work effectively in a high-risk and volatile operational environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage men, materials, and security resources effectively.
Proven
coordinating security personnel and managing security operations.
Strong communication, leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Ideal Candidate:
coordinating government security forces, contractors, access control, security investigations, and protection of personnel and assets will be highly relevant.
We are particularly interested in professionals with a combination of industrial security
and a military or police background, especially those who have managed security operations within oil & gas, onshore fields, flow stations, wellhead locations, or other high-risk facilities.
