Key Accountabilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Grocery Box.
- Oversee procurement, stock availability, inventory management, and replenishment.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and FMCG distributors.
- Monitor product movement, expiry dates, damages, wastage and stock levels.
- Ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packaged and dispatched on time.
- Coordinate delivery operations and monitor delivery performance.
- Monitor product pricing, operational costs and margins.
- Develop and implement efficient processes for procurement, inventory and order fulfilment.
- Identify and resolve operational issues that may affect customer service or profitability.
- Supervise operations staff and logistics partners.
- Maintain accurate operational records and prepare regular performance reports.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in FMCG, retail, grocery, e-commerce, or distribution operations.
- Practical experience in inventory, procurement, supplier, and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of Foodstuffs and distribution processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant digital tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience in online grocery or e-commerce operations is an added advantage.
