Job Title: Operations Auditor
Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
The Operations Auditor will evaluate the effectiveness, compliance, and efficiency of operational processes across outlets and business units.
The role will identify operational risks, control gaps, irregularities, and opportunities for improvement while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Prepare clear audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
- Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, fraud risks, and operational irregularities.
- Follow up on implementation of agreed audit recommendations.
- Maintain accurate audit working papers and documentation.
- Verify sales records, stock movements, expenses, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
- Review compliance with company policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Store/Outlet teams, and Management during audits.
- Conduct routine and surprise audits of operational activities, outlets, inventory, cash handling, and documentation.
- Requirements & Qualifications
- Good analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, inventory, cash management, and operational procedures.
- 3–5years' experience in operations audit, internal audit, compliance, or a related role.
- Experience in the food, hospitality, retail, or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
