Our non-consumables include home care and body essentials.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Kogi
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support operational teams and personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Ensure timely distribution of products to customers and sales teams.
- Develop strategies for reducing operational costs while maintaining service quality.
- Monitor branch and departmental performance against operational targets.
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities across assigned locations.
- Prepare regular operational performance reports for Management.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, HR, Procurement, Logistics, and other departments.
- Monitor the utilization and maintenance of company vehicles and operational assets.
- Monitor inventory movement and ensure proper stock accountability.
- Review operational reports and provide recommendations to Management.
- Identify operational risks and recommend preventive measures.
- Develop and implement processes that improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure efficient coordination of sales, distribution, logistics, inventory, and other operational functions.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor customer service and order fulfilment processes.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of operational processes and performance management.
- Minimum of B.Sc. in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and teams.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within FMCG, distribution, logistics, retail, or a related industry.
- Masters degree is an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
