Job Title: Operations & PR Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking an organised and commercially aware Operations & PR Officer to support the COO in coordinating daily operations, projects, reporting, and stakeholder relationships, while managing PR and corporate communications activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute PR activities, including media relations, press releases, company announcements and publicity.
- Track operational and PR performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Monitor departmental performance, follow up on action points, and identify operational gaps.
- Coordinate projects across teams, track progress and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare operational reports, meeting notes, dashboards and management updates.
- Build relationships with media professionals, influencers and industry stakeholders.
- Support the COO in coordinating daily operations, tracking departmental tasks, deadlines and deliverables.
- Monitor media coverage and flag potential reputational issues.
- Develop corporate stories, profiles, presentations and communication materials.
- Support project planning, execution reports and coordination with vendors and external partners.
Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and support senior management.
- Experience in an advertising, media, marketing or PR agency is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and relevant project-management tools.
- Good understanding of PR, media relations and corporate communications.
- Strong communication, organizational, project-management and reporting skills.
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience in operations, project management, PR, communications or a related field.
