The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating automatic/semi-automatic paper bag machines and a strong eye for quality and efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor paper bag making machines for daily production runs
- Adjust machine settings (paper feed, gluing, folding, cutting) to match job specifications
- Monitor bag quality throughout the run — checking seams, folds, glue bonds, and dimensions Identify and correct machine faults quickly to minimize downtime and waste Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
- Maintain accurate production records (run counts, waste, downtime)
- Ensure finished bags meet count accuracy and quality standards before packing
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Requirements
Proven experience operating paper bag making machines (automatic or semi-automatic)
Understanding of kraft paper and FBB material handling
Technically inclined, able to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
