We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Pharmacovigilance Pharmacist
Location: Lagos
Main responsibilities (not exhaustive)
Recording and reporting adverse reactions received from healthcare professionals, company representatives and patients.
Conducting in-depth interviews with patients and healthcare professionals.
Prepare and review pharmacovigilance reports and safety documentation.
Flagging up early warning signs of adverse effects of drugs.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of pharmacovigilance reports in line with NAFDAC requirements.
Maintain accurate pharmacovigilance records and safety databases.
Contributing to research.
Liaise with healthcare professionals and relevant stakeholders on drug safety matters.
Setting up and reviewing processes and training.
Requirements
- Professional requirements (minimum):
- Good understanding of pharmacovigilance principles, adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting, and drug safety monitoring.
- Must have completed NYSC.
- B.Pharm/Pharm.D
- Language required (minimum):
- English Language
- Software knowledge required (minimum):
- Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides
- OR its equivalents (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint etc.)
