Job Summary
The successful candidate will support the pharmacist in dispensing medications, attending to customers, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our community pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customers professionally and provide basic information about medications as directed by the pharmacist.
- Receive, review, and accurately process prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Assist the pharmacist with dispensing and preparing medications according to prescriptions and established procedures.
- Receive, arrange, label, and store medicines and other pharmacy products appropriately.
- Monitor stock levels and identify products that are low, expired, damaged, or close to their expiry dates.
Requirements
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Previous
Experience
in a community pharmacy is an advantage.
Must be licensed/registered with the appropriate regulatory body where applicable.
Good knowledge of common medications and pharmacy procedures.
Minimum of an OND/HND in Pharmacy Technician studies or a relevant pharmacy technician qualification.
Salary: N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
