Job Title: Plant HR Business Partner
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
The Plant HR Business Partner will lead the delivery of end-to-end HR solutions at the plant level, ensuring alignment with corporate HR strategies while addressing the unique demands of plant operations.
The role is responsible for workforce optimisation, performance management, employee engagement, industrial relations, and compliance with labour laws and company policies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Support plant operations through effective manpower planning, recruitment, and deployment of skilled talent.
Act as a strategic HR partner to Plant Management, providing guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, and people strategy.
Lead performance management processes including goal setting and reviews.
Manage employee relations and industrial relations issues, ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
Monitor HR metrics and analytics to improve productivity.
Drive change management initiatives.
Drive the implementation of HR policies, frameworks, and programs in alignment with corporate HR directives.
Oversee learning and development interventions.
Ensure compliance with statutory labour laws and HR governance standards.
Requirements
- Plant or manufacturing operations experience is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or any of the Social Sciences disciplines.
- Must be a Chartered HR practitioner (CIPMN/SHRM/CIPD).
- Minimum of 15 years progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years at Head of Department level.
- Additional degree/qualification in Engineering or any related field is an added advantage,
