Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Grinder Operator to operate and monitor industrial plastic grinding/granulating equipment used in the recycling and processing of waste plastic materials.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on
operating plastic recycling machinery and be able to maintain efficient machine performance and consistent material output.
in a plastic manufacturing or recycling environment is strongly preferred.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow production instructions.
Ability to operate machinery safely and identify basic machine faults.
2–5 years'
operating plastic grinding, granulating, shredding or recycling machines.
Salary: N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
- Clear minor blockages and carry out basic machine adjustments.
- Inspect processed plastic materials for quality and proper size.
- Feed waste plastic materials into the grinder according to production requirements.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of grinding equipment.
- Operate and monitor plastic grinding/granulating machines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow production procedures and workplace safety standards.
- Report machine faults, abnormal sounds, overheating or other operational issues.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent output.
Requirements
