Job Summary
The Procurement Manager would be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, managing suppliers’ relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards required by the organization. The role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and delivery speed
Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast needs
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentations
Evaluate suppliers/vendors performance and manage relationships
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements
Conduct open market research to explore price options and cost-saving opportunities
Handle procurement-related issues and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Management or any related field. Professional certifications is an added advantage.
Proven experience in procurement & purchasing from manufacturing company preferred.
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good analytical and organizational abilities
Understanding of purchase contract management and supplier
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
