We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies.
The ideal candidate must possess strong negotiation, inventory management, and vendor relationship skills, with experience in procurement within a pharmacy, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure pharmaceutical products and medical supplies from approved vendors.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient supply operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant pharmaceutical regulations.
Requirements
- The following Requirements will be strictly folllowd:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Must Reside close to or around Agodi, Ibadan. No Accommodation is provided
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management in a healthcare/pharmaceutical sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/procurement management systems.
- Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CIPSMN) is an advantage.
