Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary
Taeillo Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, production supplies, equipment, and other business requirements.
The successful candidate will ensure timely procurement, competitive pricing, quality assurance, proper documentation, and cost efficiency to support the company's furniture manufacturing and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop reliable supplier relationships.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase tracking reports.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse team to confirm quantities and specifications of received materials.
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to determine purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and secure favourable terms while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and material availability to support effective purchasing decisions.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with approved budgets, internal controls, and company procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, product quality, and compliance with agreed specifications.
- Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement documentation in line with company policies.
- Source and evaluate suppliers of raw materials, including wood, foam, fabrics, leather, laminates, hardware, and other production materials.
Requirements
Relevant professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement or inventory management systems.
High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of supplier sourcing, inventory management, and procurement procedures.
Relevant experience in procurement, preferably within manufacturing, furniture, construction, or a related industry.
HND/B.Sc. in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Salary: N250,000 per month.
