We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Kano
General objective
The role aims to achieve production targets while optimizing resources, minimizing waste, and maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and continuous improvement.
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all production activities at NutriK FZE to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective manufacturing of food products in compliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.

- Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, hygiene standards) and regulatory
Requirements
- Supervise and coordinate production teams, including supervisors, line leaders, and operators
- Ensure production output meets quantity, quality, food safety, and cost
- Train, evaluate, and develop production staff; promote teamwork and discipline
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in line with demand forecasts and business objectives
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and disciplinary measures when necessary
- Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies
- Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure equipment availability, preventive maintenance, and reduced downtime
- Prepare and submit production reports, KPIs, and performance analysis
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address deviations, non‑conformities, and corrective actions
- Manage raw material and packaging usage in coordination with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams
- Control production costs, yields, waste, and rework

Experience

Proven
in a food manufacturing environment.
HMI operating system with 3 years on hands experience.
At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Education
Degree: HND or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook.
Other required skills:
