Job Title: Programmes Associate, Energy, Climate and Environment

Role Summary
The successful candidate will work with internal teams, government institutions, development partners, researchers, private-sector organizations, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful programmes and generate evidence-based solutions to environmental and climate-related challenges.
We are seeking a passionate, analytical, and highly organized Programmes Associate – Energy, Climate & Environment to support the design, coordination, implementation, research, and monitoring of programmes focused on climate action, clean energy, environmental sustainability, and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and document programme data and impact indicators.
- Contribute to the development of climate and environmental communication materials.
- Conduct research on climate change, renewable energy, energy transition, sustainability, environmental policy, and green economy trends.
- Assist with grant and donor reporting requirements.
- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of Energy, Climate, and Environmental programmes.
- Conduct desk research and prepare intelligence briefs on emerging climate and energy issues.
- Support the integration of technology, data, and Artificial Intelligence into climate and environmental programmes.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Support stakeholder mapping and engagement with government agencies, development organizations, academia, communities, and private-sector partners.
- Support monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting activities.
- Identify emerging opportunities for partnerships, funding, and programme development.
- Support the development of project proposals, concept notes, reports, presentations, and policy briefs.
- Perform other programme-related responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist in coordinating workshops, conferences, stakeholder engagements, trainings, and field activities.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, research, climate action, sustainability, energy, environmental development, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or professional certification in a relevant field is an added advantage.
- Required Skills:
- Programme and project coordination.
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Report and proposal writing.
