Job Summary

:

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, monitoring and closing projects to ensure delivery within approved scope, timelines, budget, quality standards and Company requirements. The role will coordinate internal teams, contractors, vendors, consultants and other stakeholders, while proactively managing project risks, resources, issues and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project activities from initiation through completion in line with approved scope and objectives.
• Define project priorities, allocate resources and coordinate project team activities.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, vendors and internal teams to support effective project execution.
• Project Monitoring & Control
• Track project progress against approved plans, milestones, budgets and key deliverables.
• Monitor project costs and resource utilisation and escalate significant variances promptly.
• Maintain project documentation, action trackers, schedules and status reports.
• Identify delays, issues and dependencies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure project changes are properly assessed, documented, approved and communicated.
• Stakeholder & Team Management
• Build effective working relationships with project stakeholders and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project meetings, communicate decisions and follow up on agreed actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and promote accountability for assigned deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.
• Provide regular updates to Management and relevant stakeholders on project status and performance.
• Risk, Quality & Compliance
• Identify, assess and monitor project risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
• Ensure project activities comply with Company policies, approved procedures, contractual requirements and applicable regulations.
• Monitor project quality requirements and ensure deliverables meet agreed specifications.
• Coordinate with HSE and relevant functions to ensure safe execution of project activities.
• Escalate significant risks, compliance concerns and quality issues to Management.
• Project Reporting & Close-Out
• Prepare timely project status reports, dashboards, forecasts and management updates.
• Maintain accurate project records, lessons learned, approvals and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate project handover, completion documentation and close-out activities.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
• QHSE Compliance
• Ensured that Safe Work Practices are understood and implemented, by both internal and external maintenance providers.
• Provided assistance to disseminate HSE awareness and ensured compliance of HSE policy.

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Sc./B.Eng. in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in Project Management such as PMP or equivalent is an added advantage.
• 5 years’ relevant experience in project management, project coordination or a similar role.
• Experience managing projects from initiation through completion, preferably in a structured corporate, trading, industrial or related environment.

Strong budgeting, cost control, risk management and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines effectively.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with project management software (e.g. MS Project or equivalent).

Strong analytical, reporting and documentation skills.

Ability to identify issues, assess risks and implement practical solutions.
