We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Ago-iwoye, Ogun
Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management Systems (QMS): Implement and enforce the site Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan in compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and ISO/standard construction codes.
- Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular site inspections across all stages of construction (foundations, structural works, mechanical/electrical, and finishes), conducting formal Work Inspection Requests (WIR) before proceeding to subsequent project phases.
- Coordination & Training: Liaise with client representatives, consultant engineers, third-party testing agencies, and subcontractors. Conduct quality toolboxes and briefings for site personnel to promote quality standard awareness.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify site defects or deviations from drawings, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), track root causes, and oversee corrective/preventive actions to resolution.
- Documentation & Submittals: Review Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Material Approval Requests (MARs). Maintain precise QA/QC logs, test reports, and compile final project handover/as-built documentation.
- Materials Inspection & Testing: Verify all incoming raw materials, equipment, and components match approved submittals and factory test certificates. Oversee field sampling and laboratory testing (e.g., concrete slump/compressive strength, rebar tensile strength, soil compaction).

Education
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
3–7+ years of
as a QA/QC Engineer on civil infrastructure, residential, commercial, or heavy construction projects.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of quality control testing methods, construction codes/standards (ASTM, BS, ACI), standard specification reading, and AutoCAD.
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical capability, dispute-resolution skills, and firm decision-making regarding build standard enforcement.
Salary: N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
