We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Reconciliation Officer
Job
Location: Aiyetoro - Epe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Finance/Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and exceptions.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding reconciliation items.
- Prepare reconciliation reports for management review.
- Reconcile POS, bank transfers, electronic channels, and settlement accounts.
- Monitor suspense accounts and ensure timely resolution of aged items.
- Support audit, internal control, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Liaise with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to resolve transaction-related issues.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.
Requirements
1-2 years of relevant
Experience
in a Microfinance Bank, Commercial Bank, Fintech, POS/Payments company, or related financial institution.
Good understanding of bank reconciliations, settlements, and transaction processing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high transaction volumes.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 per month (depending on experience).
